4x4 Events Calendar

 




Kumnandi Getaways can offer you the following:

  • Affordable excursions that are arranged for you by professional 4x4 guides. All the guides are registered with the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEAT).
  • A variety of excursions that range from:
    • Challenging 4x4
    • Relaxed 4x4
    • Camping
    • 4x2
    • Beautiful scenery
    • Practical 4x4 training
    • Corporate events
  • An opportunity to meet other people that share your interests.
  • An opportunity to share your 4x4 and outdoor experiences with others.
  • An opportunity to stay informed about interesting 4x4 events and activities.
  • An opportunity to learn more about nature while experiencing nature first hand.
  • An opportunity to share in any special offers that might come our way.

Excursion costs include:

  • Route fees (as advertised by the route owner)
  • Camping fees (as advertised by the route owner)
  • Admission fees (payable to guide per agenda)
  • R50 admin fee per vehicle (every vehicle pays the relevant guide directly)

How it works:

  • Excursions that are planned by the various guides will be circulated to the group.
  • The guide who is arranging the excursion is responsible for all arrangements and notices regarding the excursion.
  • Bookings are made directly with the relevant guide.
  • Indemnity forms, where applicable, will be completed at the route briefing.
  • Every excursion will go ahead regardless of the number of vehicles.
  • Every excursion will be restricted to a maximum of 15 vehicles.

  • Send an email to info@kumnandi.co.za requesting to be added to the mailing list.
  • Every time an outing is planned, you will receive an email.
  • You decide if you would like to join us on the outing.

Drive responsibly and stay on existing roads or tracks.
Leave all gates as you found them.
Prevent soil erosion.
Don’t litter – take home what you brought with you.
Be aware of restrictions with regard to making fires and prevent veld fires at all costs.
Adhere to all laws and regulations and obtain permission / permits
from the relevant authorities before entering restricted areas.
Safeguard our water supply.
Keep your vehicle mechanically sound and ensure that you have sufficient recovery points
(front and rear) on your vehicle.
